MANAGEMENT SKILLS IN
THE 21ST CENTURY OF ADMINISTRATORS IN BASIC EDUCATION
SCHOOLS UNDER NAKHONPATHOM PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE

This research aimed to
study and compare the management skills in the 21st
century of the administrators in basic education schools under Nakhonpathom
Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, classified by
school sizes. The sample comprised 311 teachers in the
subject area, treated by a 5-level rating scale
questionnaire with reliability of 0.98 as a tool to
collect data which were analyzed in terms of percentage, mean, standard
deviation, one-way ANOVA, and Scheffe’s pair comparison at statistical
significance of 0.05. The
findings: 1. The level of the administrators’ management
skills was, as a whole and in separate aspects, found high as written in
descending order: leadership and responsibility, social and cross-culture,
flexibility and adaptability, productivity and trustworthiness, and creativity
and self-confidence. 2. No difference was found in the
administrators’ management skills in the schools of different sizes.
